The Lloyd's Market is a unique insurance provider with an internationally recognised brand. Lloyd's is an insurance market, not a single insurance company, based in the City of London. Its insurance business is underwritten by nearly 90 syndicates (the insurers) who accept risks on a shared and competitive basis.
